Almond milk is a must have product on my kitchen. It works everywhere from drinks to smoothies and soups. Homemade almond milk tastes so much better then store bought, and it is so easy to make at home!
You need just almonds and water. I prefer to activate my almonds by soaking them overnight.
1 cup of soaked almonds
2 cups of water
Rinse the almonds and peel the skins off if you want (I don’t do it). Blend almonds and water, then, Line a fine-mesh strainer with either an opened nut milk bag or cheesecloth, and place over a measuring cup. Pour the almond mixture into the strainer. Squeeze and press with clean hands to extract as much almond milk as possible. I always keep leftover for cookies.
