I love eating porridge for breakfast, especially in the winter. It warms me up and satisfies for a long time. And when it comes to porridge, I prefer it to be not only tasty, but nutritious. Quinoa works perfect at this point!
I’ve obsessed with apple and cinnamon combo lately, so this recipe came to me very organically. All the best things in one bowl. Yes!
100g of quinoa
200ml coconut or almond milk
200ml of water
1 apple + some for topping
raisins (as much as you like)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
Grate the apple on a grater. Rinse your quinoa with hot water, then cover with water, mix with all the ingredients and let it boil over medium heat. If you want to add some healthy fats to your cereal, use cold-pressed coconut oil or a spoonful of ghee. When quinoa is ready, turn off the fire.
Serve with apple slices and coconut syrup, sprinkled with cinnamon for more flavor.
